  • 1 lb. boneless veal steaks (1/2-inch thick)
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 green apples, cored and sliced without peeling
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. each salt and pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 4 to 6 Tbsp. half and half
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • minced parsley

    Trim veal of excess fat.

    Heat 1 tablespoon of the butter until foamy.

    Saute apple slices until tender and lightly browned. Remove.
