Veal Roast

  • 1 (2 -3 lb) veal roast
  • 24 small potatoes
  • 1 bunch celery
  • 4 -6 medium onions
  • 1 (16 ounce) package mushrooms
  • 12 cup chicken broth
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons thyme
  • 4 tablespoons black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons sage
  • 12 cup butter

    I used a roaster for this.

    Preheat roaster to 325.
  3. 3
    Place butter in roaster and place onions, potatoes, celery, mushrooms and bacon - distribute evenly, place veal on top of veggies and bacon.

    After cooking for about 20 - 25 minutes pour chicken broth over the veal and veggies.
  5. 5
    Turn Veal a few times over the course of cooking.
