  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 to 3/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. cold water
  • pinch of ginger
  • vegetables, thoroughly dried

    Mix dry ingredients.

    Add water.

    Stir in ginger.

    Dip vegetables in batter; drain and fry in deep oil.

    Use chunks of broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, celery and mushrooms.

    Drain on paper towels.
