  • 2 c. turnips, diced
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. green peas (fresh)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. carrots, diced or sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cook turnips and carrots for 10 minutes in boiling water with 1/2 teaspoon salt added.

    Add peas and cook until tender, about 5 to 7 minutes.

    Drain; season with butter or margarine.

    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
