- 2 c. turnips, diced
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. green peas (fresh)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. carrots, diced or sliced
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cook turnips and carrots for 10 minutes in boiling water with 1/2 teaspoon salt added.

2Add peas and cook until tender, about 5 to 7 minutes.

3Drain; season with butter or margarine.

4Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
