- 1/4 c. sliced green onions
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 can (14 1/2 oz.) stewed tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- dash of thyme
- dash of pepper
- 1 can (17 oz.) sweet peas, drained
Directions

1In a medium saucepan, saute onions in butter.

2Add tomatoes, cornstarch, thyme and pepper; stir until cornstarch is dissolved. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and translucent.

3Add peas; heat through.

4Serve sauce over omelet, hamburger or use as a side dish.
