- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. cooked English peas
Directions

1Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat.

2Add flour, stirring well until smooth.

3Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.

4Gradually add milk and cook over medium heat until mixture is thickened and bubbly.

5Stir in salt, pepper and peas.

6Yields 3/4 cup.
