  • 1 1/2 lb. chuck roast
  • 4 potatoes, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 c. cabbage, sliced
  • 3 medium carrots, sliced
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced
  • 1 c. corn, frozen
  • 1 c. green beans
  • 1/2 c. macaroni
  • 2 c. tomato juice
  • salt and pepper
