Ingredients

  • 3 cans tomatoes, cut up
  • 3 cans tomato sauce
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 bag corn (frozen)
  • 1 large or 2 small bags mixed vegetables (frozen)
  • 2 medium onions, sliced and quartered
  • 2 to 3 lb. deer stew meat, cubed and cut very lean
  • 5 to 6 medium potatoes, cubed
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar or to taste

Directions

    Remove all gristle from meat and season with meat tenderizer and brown in skillet; drain.

    In a big soup pot, mix tomatoes, tomato sauce, paste, corn, mixed vegetables, onions, salt, pepper and sugar.

    Add meat, cook on medium-low heat for 2 to 3 hours. Add potatoes and cook until potatoes are done.

    This makes a lot of soup.
