- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 large potato, chopped into small pieces
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 carrot, chopped into small pieces
- 2 Tbsp. uncooked rice
- 1 c. broth (chicken, beef or pork)
- 2 c. water
Directions

1Cook hamburger (salt and pepper) and drain.

2Put cooked hamburger in a large pot. Add vegetables, rice, broth and water. Salt and pepper to taste. Add 1 cup tomato juice, if desired. Cook slowly about 45 minutes.
