Ingredients

  • 2 quarts tomatoes-stewed (or 6 cans)
  • 1/4 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 large potato
  • 1 1/2 c large macaroni
  • 1/4 c rice
  • 1/2 c canned whole kernel corn
  • 1/2 c canned green beans
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp parsley
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil

Directions

    Put canned tomatoes into large cooking pot.

    Add 1 quart water and salt-simmer.

    In small boiler, put rice, macaroni and diced potato and cook until tender-drain.

    In saucepan, saute ground beef and onion in vegetable oil until browned-drain.

    Add all ingredients into cook pot.

    Add corn and green beans and parsley. Simmer until thoroughly blended.

    Serve with cornbread.

    Can be frozen.

    Other vegetables can be added if preferred.
