Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • pepper (season to taste)
  • 1 c. diced celery
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 large can tomatoes, diced
  • 1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 (3O oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 small can tomato sauce

Directions

    Brown ground beef, onions and garlic.

    Pour spaghetti sauce into Dutch oven.

    Add beef broth, 2 cups water, celery, sugar, salt, beef and onions; bring to a boil.

    Simmer 45 minutes. Add vegetables and tomatoes.

    Cover and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes.
