Ingredients

  • 2 lb. beef
  • 5 onions
  • 7 celery stalks
  • 5 carrots
  • 5 potatoes
  • 1 1/2 c. parsley flakes
  • 2 (28 oz.) cans tomatoes or fresh tomatoes
  • 3 Tbsp. rice
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Cook beef and 1 onion with 4 quarts of water for 2 hours. After cooked, skim off fat on beef.

    Then chop beef.

    Add all ingredients and simmer for 4 hours.
