- 5 onions
- 7 celery stalks
- 5 carrots
- 5 potatoes
- 1 1/2 c. parsley flakes
- 2 (28 oz.) cans tomatoes or fresh tomatoes
- 3 Tbsp. rice
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Cook beef and 1 onion with 4 quarts of water for 2 hours. After cooked, skim off fat on beef.

2Then chop beef.

3Add all ingredients and simmer for 4 hours.
