- 2 sticks butter
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Directions

1Cream butter, shortening and sugar well.

2Add an egg at a time, beating well.

3Sift flour, baking powder and salt.

4Add flour mixture and milk alternately to sugar mixture.

5Add flavorings.

6Pour into greased and floured cake pan.

7Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
