Venison Casserole

  • 1 lb. ground venison
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 6 to 8 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 1 large pkg. frozen peas
  • 1/2 c. milk

    Brown venison and onion.

    Drain well.

    Add soup, mushrooms, salt and pepper.

    Heat through.

    In 3-quart casserole, layer potatoes, peas and meat, ending with meat.

    Pour milk over top. Bake at 350°, uncovered, for 1 1/2 hours or until potatoes are done.
