  • 1 pound deer Ground, elk, or moose
  • 1 pound ground pork or ground veal
  • oatmeal cup Quick uncooked
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion Instant
  • salt to taste
  • 1 cup tomato juice
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/4 cup egg substitute

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Combine all ingredients. Pack firmly into ungreased 8 1/2- by 4 1/2- by 2 1/2-inch loaf pan. Bake for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.
