- 1 venison roast
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 to 4 carrots, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 to 4 potatoes, chopped
- 4 tsp. bacon fat
- celery, chopped
- flour
- 1 to 2 onions, chopped
Directions

1Flour roast and brown on both sides in bacon fat.

2Place in baking pan and cover with water.

3Cover with foil and bake in 350° oven until roast is tender.

4Remove from oven, add vegetables and seasonings and return to oven.

5Cover and cook until vegetables are done.

6Gravy can be made by browning flour and using the broth, if desired.
