- 1 1/2 lb. venison round steak
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 clove of garlic, diced
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1/4 tsp. basil, thyme and tarragon
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 c. beef bouillon
- 1/2 c. red wine (optional)
Directions

1Saute veggies in oil until soft.

2Brown meat in oil.

3Add veggies, bouillon and spices.

4Simmer, uncovered, 35 to 45 minutes.

5Add red wine after 30 minutes and simmer to reduce liquid.

6Serve with brown or white rice.
