  • 1/2 c. Wesson Oil
  • 1 pkg. Ballard cornbread mix
  • 1/4 lb. Bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
  • 1 lb. Cheddar cheese (sharp), grated
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 small jar chopped pimento
  • 1 can cream style corn
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. chopped peppers or use 1 tsp. Sauer crushed red peppers
  • 1 small onion
  • 3 tsp. Sugar

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together.

    Use 2 large or 3 small pans.

    Pour batter into greased pans.

    Bake at 375° for 35 minutes.
