Venison Steaks

Ingredients

  • venison steaks, cubed (approximately 6 to 8 steaks)
  • 2 to 3 large Vidalia onions, sliced
  • 3 large bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 jar mushrooms
  • salt
  • pepper
  • flour
  • 3/4 c. canola oil

Directions

    Salt and pepper steaks to taste.

    May use seasoned salt, if desired.

    Coat steaks with flour.

    Place steak in skillet with hot oil.

    Brown.

    Remove from skillet until all are browned.

    Place onions and bell peppers into skillet and cook until tender.

    Add drained mushrooms.

    Simmer approximately 5 minutes more.

    Steaks may be returned to pan and allowed to simmer for 10 minutes or onions, peppers and mushrooms may be served as a side dish.
