- 2 to 3 lb. venison
- 1/4 lb. butter or oleo
- 1 lb. mushrooms
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. red wine
- 4 potatoes, cubed
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 1 can whole kernel corn
- flour, salt and pepper
Directions

1Cut meat in small pieces.

2Dredge in flour.

3Melt butter and brown meat.

4Add mushrooms, onions, pepper and celery.

5Add beef stock to cover meat and vegetables.

6Simmer 2 hours.

7Then add wine, potatoes, carrots and corn.

8Cook 30 minutes more.
