Venison With Mushrooms

- 2 lb. venison, sliced
- 3 Tbsp. butter or oil
- 1 c. red wine
- 1/4 c. sour cream
- 2 apples, baked
- cranberry sauce
- 3 c. mushrooms, sliced
- 2 whole cloves
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Pound venison with a meat mallet.

2Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

3Dredge in flour and fry in butter for 8 to 10 minutes, turning a few times.

4Remove meat from saucepan and set aside. Add wine, cloves, salt, pepper and sour cream to the drippings. Simmer for 10 minutes and strain.
