- 1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) broiler-fryer chicken, cut up
- 3/4 c. buttermilk
- 1 Tbsp. instant chicken bouillon
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 c. unsifted flour
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
Directions

1In a 1 cup measure, combine buttermilk, bouillon and oregano. Let stand 10 minutes.

2Place chicken in a large bowl.

3Pour mixture over chicken; toss to coat.

4Let stand 30 minutes.

5In paper or plastic bag, combine flour and paprika.

6Shake each piece of chicken in bag to coat.

7Place in a 13 x 9-inch pan.

8Drizzle with margarine.

9Bake, uncovered, in a preheated 350° oven for 1 hour or until golden.

10Makes 4 to 6 servings.
