  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cube melted margarine
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    In a large mixing bowl sift the dry ingredients.

    Make a well and drop in the eggs, vanilla, buttermilk and cooled margarine. Mix well.

    Add nuts and mix well.

    Spray a 9 x 13-inch pan with vegetable oil. Bake about 30 to 35 minutes at 350°.
