  • 1 bunch finely sliced leeks
  • 1 stalk finely sliced celery
  • 1 medium finely sliced onion
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 1/2 c. strong chicken stock
  • 1 c. cream
  • finely chopped chives
  • shredded, chopped carrot
