- cucumbers
- 2 c. lime
- 1 gal. water
- 3 Tbsp. pickling spices, tied in bag
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. vinegar
Directions

1Cut cucumbers into long strips.

2Soak in mixture of lime and 1 gallon water overnight.

3Rinse in cold water twice; spread on towel to dry.

4Put pickling spices into mixture of sugar and vinegar, to cover cucumbers.

5Bring to a boil; boil 30 minutes. Put into jars.
