  • 1 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. Wesson oil
  • 2 tsp. vinegar
  • 1 level tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Mix first 3 ingredients.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Mix all together.

    Grease pan (13 x 9-inch).

    Pour in batter and cook at 350° for about 20 minutes.

    While cake is hot, slice, then ice.
