  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. lemon flavoring

Directions

    Beat egg yolks until thick. Add sugar, flour and salt.

    Mix thoroughly. Slowly add boiling water.

    Add vinegar and cook over double boiler until thick and smooth. Add lemon flavoring.

    Pour into baked pie shell. Beat egg whites for meringue on top. Cook until brown.
