- 3 egg yolks
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/3 tsp. salt
- 2 c. boiling water
- 4 Tbsp. vinegar
Directions

1Beat egg yolks until light and lemon colored.

2Sift together the sugar, cornstarch and salt; stir into the beaten egg yolks. Add water gradually.

3Add vinegar.

4Place pan over hot water and cook until mixture thickens.
