  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. stone ground white cornmeal
  • 1/4 c. melted butter (no substitute)
  • 4 large eggs, beaten

Directions

    Preheat oven to 375°.

    Heat the milk in a saucepan. Add the salt and stir in the cornmeal gradually.

    When smooth, beat in the butter and eggs.

    Pour the mixture into a well greased 2-quart baking dish. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
