  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1 German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    In 9 x 13-inch pan, sprinkle nuts, then coconut.

    Prepare cake mix according to box directions.

    In separate bowl, mix cream cheese, margarine, sugar and vanilla.

    Spoon cake mix over nuts and coconut.

    Drop cream cheese mixture by spoonfuls over top of cake mix.

    Do not mix cake and topping.

    Bake 45 minutes at 350°.
