  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1/3 cup cooking oil
  • 1-3/4 cup milk

Directions

    Sift flour with sugar, baking powder and salt set aside.

    In a separate bowl, combine slightly beaten egg yolks, cooking oil and milk; add to dry ingredients all at once beat until smooth.

    In another bowl, beat eggs whites until soft peaks form; fold into batter.

    Prepare in waffle iron; Belgian preferred.

    Serve with butter and syrup.
