  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 lb. margarine
  • 3/4 c. milk, heated slowing until hot
  • 8 oz. black walnuts, chopped fine

    Beat eggs until blended; add sugar, flour, baking powder and vanilla.

    Blend.

    Stir in nuts.

    Add hot milk slowly and stir. Mix all ingredients together good and quick.

    Pour batter in a greased and floured loaf pan.

    Bake at 375° for 30 to 40 minutes.
