- 8 egg yolks plus 2 whole eggs
- 1 Tbsp. whiskey
- 12 Tbsp. sifted flour
- 22 Tbsp. fine ground walnuts
- 4 Tbsp. each: flour and grated toast
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 8 egg whites
- dash of salt
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Directions

1Beat egg yolks plus 2 whole eggs well.

2Add whiskey and sugar. Beat well for 3 minutes with an electric mixer.

3Remove from mixer and fold in walnuts.

4Fold in flour and toast.

5Add vanilla. Beat egg whites with a dash of salt and cream of tartar and beat until stiff.

6Now fold egg yolk mixture into whites.

7Mix.

8Pour into pan and bake for 55 minutes at 350°.
