  • 3 oranges
  • 2 qt. cider
  • 1 c. rum or brandy
  • whole cloves
  • cinnamon sticks

Directions

    Stud oranges with cloves; place 1/2-inch apart in baking pan with a little water.

    Bake in a slow oven at 325° for 30 minutes. Heat cider with 1 cinnamon stick to boiling.

    Add brandy or rum. Pour into punch bowl; float baked oranges on top.

    Serve in cups or mugs, using cinnamon sticks for stirring.
