  • 2 cans water chestnuts (whole)
  • 1 lb. bacon
  • 1 c. ketchup
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • squirt of lemon juice

Directions

    Cut bacon in thirds.

    Wrap bacon around water chestnuts and secure with toothpicks.

    Put on ungreased shallow pan.

    Bake at 375° for 1/2 hour.

    Drain.

    Mix ketchup, brown sugar and lemon juice.

    Pour over chestnuts.
  8. 8
    Return to oven (350°) for 10 minutes.
