- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
Directions

1In medium size bowl with mixer, beat butter and 1/2 cup sugar until light and fluffy.

2Add vanilla and flour; mix well.

3Stir in nuts.

4Cover and chill for 1 hour.

5Preheat oven to 350°.

6Shape dough into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.

7Bake for 15 minutes.

8Let stand on sheet for 2 to 3 minutes before removing to a wire rack.

9Cool completely, then roll again in sugar.

10Makes 3 dozen.

11Can be frozen up to 3 months.
