  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 tsp. water
  • 2 c. sifted enriched flour (plain)
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add vanilla and water.

    Add flour. Mix well.

    Stir in pecans.

    Shape into small balls or fingers. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in slow oven, 325°, for 20 minutes. Remove to rack; cool slightly and roll in confectioners (xxxx) sugar.
