- 3 sticks (3/4 lb.) butter
- 1 lb. powdered sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 lb. box sifted flour
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
Directions

1Have eggs and butter room temperature.

2Cream butter; add sugar and beat until fluffy.

3Add eggs one at a time; beat well after each addition.

4Sift flour 3 times; add gradually to batter. Add flavorings.

5Bake in well-greased and floured tube pan at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.

6Cool 4 minutes.

7Then invert pan.
