- 2 sticks butter (1/2 lb.)
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 c. (1/2 pt.) whipping cream
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
Directions

1Have all ingredients at room temperature.

2Cream butter and sugar until creamy; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.

3Add flour alternately with the whipping cream.

4Add extract and mix well.

5Pour batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube or Bundt pan.

6Bake in a preheated 325° oven for 1 hour and 20 to 30 minutes or until cake is done.

7When done, cool on rack about 10 minutes before inverting pan.

8Cake freezes well, tightly wrapped.
