White Balsamic Chutney

  • 2 cooking apples, cored & chopped
  • 2 onions, peeled & very finely chopped
  • 2 ounces dried apricots
  • 1 ounce raisins
  • 5 ounces sugar
  • 1 cup white balsamic vinegar
  • fresh ground black pepper

Directions

    Place the apples, onions, apricots, raisins, sugar, vinegar and black pepper in a saucepan.

    Bring to the boil and then simmer gently for 30 minutes until the mixture has reduced, thickened slightly and turned a golden colour.

    Cool slightly and transfer into 2 sterilized jars.
  4. 4
    Seal and store in a cool cupboard.
