Ingredients
- 3 c. cold water
- 1 1/2 stick butter
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 c. instant potato flakes
- 3 pkg. dry yeast
- flour
Directions

1Combine all ingredients except flour and yeast in a large pan. Stir until lukewarm.

2Add yeast and about 4 cups flour.

3Mix with electric mixer at least 5 minutes.

4Add more flour if mixer can handle it.

5Stir in about 1/2 cup of flour at a time until dough is smooth and elastic.

6Cover with a wet towel until double in bulk.

7Shape into 4 loaves.

8Place in greased bread pans.

9Cover. When pan feels light, bake in a 350° oven for 50 minutes.

10Brush bread with margarine.
