  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. shortening (no butter)
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 eggs
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp. baking powder

Directions

    Mix and then spread mixture in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top.

    Poke holes in batter about 2 inches apart.

    Put small dabs of margarine in holes.

    Bake at 350° for about 25 to 35 minutes.
