- 5 large eggs
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 3/4 lb. candied cherries
- 4 c. pecans
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 lb. pineapple
- 1/2 oz. vanilla (2 Tbsp.)
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 oz. lemon extract
- some fresh lemon
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Beat eggs well and add to butter and sugar.

3Sift (in separate bowl) 3/4 cup flour with 1/2 teaspoon baking powder.

4Fold into butter mixture.

5Add flavoring.

6In separate bowl, mix nuts and fruit, then cut up in small pieces with 1 cup flour.

7Last, add fruit and nuts and blend well.

8Put in a cold oven, then turn on at 250° and bake 3 hours.
