  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 c. cake flour
  • 1 lb. candied cherries
  • 1 lb. candied pineapple
  • 4 c. broken pecans
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Mix small amount of flour into fruit and nut mixture; toss to coat and set aside. Add remaining flour to egg mixture. Stir in flavoring. Fold in fruits and nuts. Bake at 225° for 2 hours.
