  • 1/2 c. Parkay butter
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 7 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 lb. candied pineapple
  • 1 lb. candied red and green cherries
  • 1 lb. white raisins
  • 1 qt. or more pecans

Directions

    Use part of flour to coat chopped fruit and nuts. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well. Fold in remaining flour; add fruit and nuts. Bake in greased and floured cake pan at 250°, approximately 3 hours. Partly cool before removing from pan.
