Ingredients

  • 3 c. white sugar
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1/3 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 c. Marshmallow Fluff
  • 1 c. milk
  • dash of salt
  • 1 Tbsp. oleo
  • 3/4 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    In heavy saucepan, mix sugar, flour, cream of tartar, salt and milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent burning.

    Boil 8 minutes. Remove from heat.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Beat very vigorously with wooden spoon until very thick.

    Pour into greased 9-inch square pan. Cool.

    Cut into small pieces.

    Makes about 3 pounds.
