- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. fresh white sage
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- crushed, roasted pinon nuts
- 1/4 c. water (lukewarm)
- 1 egg
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
Directions

1In a bowl, combine dry ingredients.

2In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.

3Blend in blender the egg, cottage cheese, butter and yeast water.

4Blend.

5Transfer into a large bowl.

6Gradually add flour mixture; knead until stiff dough is formed.

7Cover with a dry cloth and let rest in a warm place until doubled in bulk, about 1 hour.
