White Wine Punch

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle dry white wine, chilled
  • 1/4 c. orange-flavored liqueur
  • 1 1/2 oz. brandy
  • 1 oz. Kirsch
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1/2 lemon, sliced
  • 4 c. chilled soda water
  • 4 slices white bread, crusts cut off if children are picky
  • 4 eggs, at room temperature
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • butter for toasting bread

Directions

    Using 3 to 4 inch cup, cut a round out of each slice of bread, reserving round for another use.

    Melt butter in skillet and saute each slice of bread until bottom is brown.

    Flip over and toast other side.

    Crack 1 egg in hole; cover and cook until toast is done and egg is thoroughly done.

    Serves 2 to 4.
