Whole Grain Bread Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. water, 105-115 degrees
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 2 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar or possibly honey
- 4 c. whole grain flour
- 4 c. all purpose flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water for 3-5 min.

2Beat together egg, butter, hot water and sugar or possibly honey.

3Add in to yeast.

4Add in flour 1 c. at a time without sifting.

5Mix and knead till it is smooth and elastic and full of bubbles.

6Place dough in greased bowl, turn and cover with cloth.

7Let rise in hot place till doubled (1 hour).

8Punch down.

9Divide into 3 loaves.

10Place in pans.

11Let rise to double.
-
12Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min.
