- 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 c. whole wheat flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450°.

2Lightly grease a baking sheet.

3Combine flours, sugar, baking powder and salt in medium bowl.

4Make a well in dry ingredients.

5Add milk, then oil to well.

6Stir with a fork, only until dough leaves sides of bowl.

7Turn dough out onto lightly floured board or pastry cloth; knead gently, just until smooth.

8Roll out to 1/2-inch thickness.

9Cut into rounds with floured 2 1/2-inch cutter.

10Place on prepared baking sheet.

11Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

12Makes 10 to 12 biscuits.
